Does anyone know if its possible to purchase just the seals/gaskets for the F/R diffs, or do you have to buy this whole (un-needed) kit.

For the price, and since it's apart anyways, why not re-new the seals? As far as I know, only the kits are available....

I'm not following, what do you mean "re-new" the seals?

The two x-rings and the washer...all included in the kit, for the $5 it costs, why not replace them... I meant replace, my bad!!

I suppose, but it would be nice if they'd sell those seals by the dozens for more frequent tear downs, when those other parts are'nt really needed.

But like most everything these days, you cant always get what you need, without the added extras to jack up the price..

Speaking of re-seals, If I enjoyed all those fine beverages that you have, I'd need a re-seal....

Yummy....

You can re-use the diff seals and gaskets, just be careful removing them. The ones in my Revo diffs have been re-used like 10 times or so, and my diffs don't leak at all.

I know, but two of those blue output seals were torn when I opened the diffs up, and a couple of the screw holes in the larger (main) gaskets are ripped through.

(this is for Revoš)

Sooo....basically you need the kit anyways!!! I hear ya, and they sell the washers in bags....why not the x-rings and gaskets???

It is smart, because to get what you need, you have to buy more stuff, which is more money for Traxxas! ;)

Exactly, just like the body posts....you need the whole kit to replace to posts...may as well link me to the proline site to buy extended ones and cut 'em down...

Yep, the best way to do easy $$$ and to make customers go crazy!

Revo1 -> how do you do to make the delrin rods fit? Where do you get them?

You don't have to make anything fit, really, you just buy the diameter that fits down in the body-post mounts. Yes, I know the mounts are square, but that doesn't matter...just cut the delrin rod to the length you need and then drill your holes for mounting them and then for body-clips. Done! Plus, you get so much rod for so cheap, you go ahead and make a bunch of posts, so if you grind one down, you can quickly and easily pop in a new one.
