Need help choosing a traxxas for my neighbor?

Hey,
My neighbor wants her 6-7 year old daughter to start rcing...actually, She wants to start rcing herself. Which traxxas would be right for her? Shes going to drive on road most of the time...with a slight chance of offroad. I was thinking of either a bandit or rustler XL-5, or a VXL (She can put on 50% power for that). And for the battery, Im looking at promatch..since they are cheap, and well built. Which one should i get? (I think 7 cell would be recomended here...but which one?..there is like 4-5 different ones just in the 4600mah group). And a cheap, good nimh charger.

I would say 6c if you get vxl. Even if the power is cut, some people have a hard time getting used to it.

6 cell...gotcha...now i gotta choose one of them and a charger. Which 6 cell would be ideal?
If they pick a xl-5 though..i think ill go 7 cell.

Stick with a 6c even if it's a xl-5. I have scared my cousin with my 7700 on a 2s lipo b/c it was so fast. It scared him so much that even slow radioshack cars he would start screaming. I never hit him or even came close. IDK I guess it was the motor revving so high. Get the VXL and put it on training mode. A 6cell side by side pack from promatch is good. Get the bigger mah for more runtime. She would get crazy runtime with it in training mode and it will outlast the titan.

I remember my first truck was an emaxx, I liked it so much, even though it went a little slow for a 6 cell and runtimes are short, it's a good truck.

i say the vxl rusty, a 5000mah 7 cell from promatch, and an onyx 220 charger.

onyx 220? Got it. She wouldnt go lipo in a LONG time..so the 230 will be in along time. They are going to pick the car now..i think ill get the 6 cell promatch..5000mah sound nice?
