Anyone tried to convert to a summit?

Like the title says i wanna kno if there are people out there that have converted they're e-revo into a summit? How much work does it take and is it expensive to do the diff lock conversion?

It'd be expensive... probably make more sense to sell the revo and buy a summit. I've got mine with summit tires/bumpers and a Titan and that's most of $100 right there. i could probably have sold it and bought the summit for about the same as what i have in it and i don't have the locking diffs or two speed.

but then again i didn't cause i don't think i'll need them. Not much in the way of rocks around here... but for the mud/water they might be useful.

It would be quicker, easier, and cheaper to sell your E-Revo and buy a Summit.

it mite not cost that much if you use ebay I was going to conver to the T-lock but i lost interest I only bought the bulks it was 15 buck for the front and 15 buck for the rear I got them off ebay for front and rear bulk for 7 bucks shipped

What if i only wanted to change to the t-lock system

This got me thinking.... bad thing

If you had a 3 channel radio and didn't care about having separate control of the lockers. You could get the following and make it work and i bet it'd be fairly inexpensive

bulks
mini servos
mini server holders
linkage
servo y cable - to hook both to your third channel
both diffs.
Can't think of anything else...

So i just added it up... on ebay the diffs are ~$45 each... ouch! be cheaper to buy a summit and have two trucks!
