Did your slash come with body velcro?

I keep seeing pictures of slashs with little velcro strips mounted on the nerf bars to keep the body in place. My slash didn't come with any velcro but it seems like it would help because my nerf bars have rubbed all the paint off of my body on the inside.

Are they supposed to be included? Is there a traxxas part number for the velcro kit/sheet?

I put velcro on the nerf bars just to keep it from rattling. I also took those lil white disks and cut velcro,stuck them on and super glued the disks to the body mounts and stuck velcro to the body....no more rattles at all.

One thing I did was to add allumiun hvac tape to the inside of the body at all possable points of wear .Especially at wheel wells neaf bar areas and also where the body mounts. The tape is perfect and has no problem with water,plus it gives the inner fenders that allumium look.Just go to lowes or depot in the heating cooling dept.That tape is tough.

I had some took it off. Placed duct tape where the bar rub. I have no problems with ratteling. Plus being on the driver stand you can hear it.

I don't have any velcro on mine, well I do.. it's stuck to the body but not the nerf bars.

If you want some that bad go to Wal-Mart and get some velcro and stick it on.. instead of waiting for Traxxas to have to ship it, and you will get a lot of velcro for cheap.

No velcro here. I put some tape on the inside of the shell to stop it rubbing all the paint off though.

I think i'm going to try something else. Maybe some foam. I don't really feel like I need the body stuck on with velcro, I just don't want it to rub.

Yeah i just got mine and i dont have anything. I have some spare velcro that i can put on or just duck tape will work fine too.

Mine came with velcro, but they did not put it on very well. Can it through a few muddy puddles and they peeled off.
