what is the diffrnece and which one would be better because i hear that there is a brushed version coming out but form my understanding brushed is not as good as brushless so why are people waiting for brushed version

Brushless is much better but more expensive, it is easy to drop in a brushless motor ESC on the brushed version so if you can get a brushed one it wouldn't be hard to convert it.

1) About $80.

2) Brushless = more speed, torque, longer life, and less maintenance.

3) Because they don't want to spend $280, or because they want to choose an aftermarket brushless system for it themselves.

Brushless is pretty much all the rage these days and for good reason.

As for why brushless is better:

1: No brushes or commutator to wear out. These have a limited useable lifetime, and the more performance you want out of the motor, the shorter they will last. The only thing that can go bad on a brushless motor (besides being overheated or physically damaged) is the bearings.

2: More efficiency. A slow brush type motor will maybe be 75% efficient. If you want faster, you can get it, but the more power a brush motor makes for it's size, the less efficient it is. Stock class racing motors are horribly inefficient - maybe 55%. The manufacturers will easily give up 3% efficiency to get 0.5% more power. (for what they are made for, that is fine, but for bashing, not so good.) A brushless motor is usually in the high 80% to low 90% efficient. More run time.

3: More power. Since you aren't wasting the batteries on making the motor hot, brushless motors can be designed to put out more power than the same sized brushed motors.
