I also just ordered my E-Revo. I'm hopeful that the May 30th release will not be pushed back anymore. If it is, then so be it, but if I miss the first order that Tower receives because I am further back on the list, then maybe I'll check a local shop and see if they have any in stock. Not sure. I could probably wait, as I am used to that, as long as it's to long.

You only see the discount when you initially place your order and then when you are finally charged for the order. You won't see it on your order status page in the meantime.

I think they will have more than enough from places like Tower Hobbies. This is a big release for Traxxas so i'm sure they wants to make sure theyre preorders are filled. (wishful thinking :) )

I was the first to put one on order at my LHS. The owner deals with several suppliers, and instead of placing a large order with one, he placed orders for 2 from 10 different suppliers. That way, he should be able to get at least a few from the first wave of these to ship. And since I'm #1 on the list. . .

I called the owner of my LHS yesterday. He is currently running another Hobby shop he opened about 45miles away. I asked him when my 16th should be coming in and his reply was "You mean you don't have it yet". He said the Traxxas rep told him about 2 weeks ago that they would ship in about a week. He will call Traxxas on monday and I will talk to him on tuesday afternoon. I will keep you guys posted on what he says. I do remember that when the Summit came out my LHS had them before Tower Hobbies did.
