How many of you would be interested in a cage for the 1/16 slash? Debating on getting one to start building cages for them. Let me know what you would like to see!

I'm not sure I understand what a cage is or does for an rc car? But yeah, I'm getting the Revo too so....

I think the main reason people want cages for the Slash is for scale looks, the only thing the Revo is scale to is another Revo. :lol:

I'd be interested in a cage for the E-Revo.
And the reason that people want cages is to protect their investments. It's an inexpensive way to ensure that in a nasty crash there is no damage to the ESC, motor, or anything else.

i dont think a cage will help on a plastic chassis

Waste of time and money, I say. The extra weight will just hamper the truck's performance, and with these little things being so light already, you have to consider the less mass an object has, the less chance it'll really get cracked up. The mass isn't there to maintain the momentum and hold the energy if it hits something. I suspect these will be bullet proof because they are going to be light. Except that at 50mph, it might not matter at all, roll cage or not. A lexan body does a better job, and it's lighter.
