I was wondering..
To all you Traxxas lovers looking to get your hands on these new little gems, is there any pictures of these trucks that could help answer any questions you may have?
I could take some specific pictures, just let me know and I'll see what I could do for you guys.. :D

I think it's for the guys who choose to run something different. If you notice, there are many people on this forum that have 1/10 and even 1/8 scale that want to try something new.
But who's to say that mini's are any less "manly" or "grown-up" than 10th or 8th?
I could argue that the guys that sneer at the mini's are too wimpy to try something that can easily go faster and too uncoordinated to work on something that's closer (more compact) than 1/8.
All you gotta do with the "big dawgs" is place the part and turn a screw. Sometimes things don't fit with the mini's and it requires a little ingenuity. My mini road car has several example of that.

Thanks for the receiver box info.
Just measured my Tactic receiver from my UL1 and it will fit. Best of all this is a 2.4 gig radio with NO antaenna on the receiver. Oh and another good feature, the tx/rx combo is only $79.00

I would be worried about the receiver having no antenna. You need a certain antenna length to accomodate certain frequencies and I know 2.4GHz needs a specific length to work well at a distance. Do you get much range with that radio?

I wonder how it will hold up on grass. I've never owned a model of that scale. We all know how much grass can affect performance (speed, temps) with Stampede/Rustler, it's not drastic, but noticable.

Actually the mini E revo is slightly smaller than the slash the slash uses different A arms on the rear that make the wheel base longer...look at the specs for both on the site the wheel base is shorter on the E Revo.

Interesting. Does Traxxas make any electric off road models that are 4wd a bit bigger than the 1/16s? About the size of the Rustler/Bandit?
binaryd
05-18-2009, 02:32 PM
Technically a 4wd version of a Rustler or Bandit would no longer be a Stadium Truck or 2wd Buggy. E-Revo is a 1/10 scale electric monster truck with 4wd, so is E-Maxx, 4wd changes its classification. So if you wanted a scale version of a Rustler that was 4wd then the E-Revo is close as its 1/10 and then the E-Maxx as its 1/10 just like the Rustler. But a stadium truck like the Rustler is normally 2wd.
