what would happen if you put a full scale velineon in the mini erevo. I bet you would probably get around 80/90 mph.It would be totaly insane. Wait, what about a monster mamba. :D :D That thing would rip! You even might be able to do a double cartwheel from a standing stop.:D :D   imagine the posibility's of this. Nonstop power, insane speed, wheellies on demand. Im going crazy just thinking about it.

That's going to be a serious problem, as the motor mount will most likely only accomodate a 380 sized motor (which comes included) and the regular VXL motor is 540 sized. Longer and bigger circumferance (sp) as well most likely and by the looks of things, won't fit without extreme mods.
The 2000kv motor from Castle will be almost the length of the chassis,. So where the 1/10 VXL motor and esc may fit with a lot of mods, the MMM motor will be pretty much impossible to install

well im going to either:

1. make a duel mini VXL erevo and get the second mini vxl from the mini slash and then put a Mamba Monster 2650 combo in the mini slash or the other way arround. i will probally try to use the motor mount from my spare emaxx or make my own.

The Mamba Monster would way more than the Mini Slash, and that's before you factor in the requisite batteries.

I'd like to install the 1/10th scale vxl also, with 12 cells it should go 65+ :)
A Mini Bullet

I'd like to know if this can be done with little mod's

And just how are all you speed demons planning on keeping these small wonders in control?

LOL, I HIGHLY doubt that you could get one of these to do 60+, its almost impossible to get a RC18 to go that fast without reaching its terminal velocity...

all I have to say, is just wait, and we'll find out soon enough. lol

The VXL-3m system is a higher kv so the smaller motor would be faster, in theory. The weight of the larger system would help keep it on the ground but it won't fit in the truck.

yea, that is actually one of my points that I've made before. Well said majestic.

wouldn't there be too much torque therefore lifting the rear too much? What is the use of replying to a 3 year old thread??

my 18R keeps on the ground at good speeds unless a stone gets in it's way lol but the revo would need foam tires and some nice front and rear wings for some real speed. i was thinking about a quad 1/16 or a quad 1/10 VXL setup as i have all the bits but after the amount of chassis modding it would need 99% of people would say it's not a revo anymore so any speed run wold be void
