View Full Version : Difference between a vxl3 and a vxl3s ESC?

I'm pretty new to this and I wanted to know if there was a difference between the 3 and the 3s and if there is, what is it?

theres is no difference...because there is no such thing or im wrong in which case....can you give me a link?

Ive seen is listed as both ways but its the same ESC either way

Huh, that's a good catch! There is no difference, they are just written differently.

well there are two diffrent vxl3s the older version where the wires connected into the speedo and the newer version where it has wires that come out and you connect them to that. the older version seem to break easy from what i was told and i had an older one that did that.

It should. The VXL system has no motor limit.

The only difference I know of between the 3 and the 3s is the status light. On the 3, it's round, on the 3s, it's square.

There is no such thing as a VXL-3 ESC. There is only the VXL-3s and the 3s indicates the maximum capacity of LiPo packs it will support.
