I didnt think anyone read GamePro anymore. Go with GameInformer. you get free from EB games. Way better mag. unbiased opinions.

Nice sport tho. What engine is in it? What you gunna go wit?

Stick with the pipe that is on there right now. Going back to stock would def be a downgrade! I have run the MIP stinger kit in a pede and a sport - very good performance improvement for the Pro .15 - you'll see. Add a Revo silicone stinger to end and it will sound unlike any other pipe set-up you will hear. Just make sure the header gasket isn't leaking and with a good tune, you will get the .15/stinger pipe to make the sport wheelie! I have.

To protect it when you flip. So you don't screw up the cooling head.

Nice looking Sport its good to see a legacy Sport on here. Unless he is running with the body off than he wont need to zip tie the cooling head.

Or he could check out ebay and get a brand new cooling head for cheap. Lol I got one off of there for 7.50 shipped for my old nitro rustler that ran a .15. (Oh by the way I sold that truck! Means i get to work on my sport more!) Back to the subject at hand, Great looking Gen 1 Sport. You know you could upgrade and put a 3.3 in it! Join the 3.3 club, and give us something to talk about. ;), Lol, but yeah some put zipties on the head so that you dont tear it up when running without a body. Also, that pipe is an upgrade and even though I think it looks silly, it will work better than stock.

Its good to see another first gen sport....with the stinger exhaust =) I would leave that exhaust on, I have the same one and it sounds great.

The problem with those 360 Stinger exhaust systems is that those rear towers are rather weak. If you break one, they will be difficult to find. I was going to purchase a Traxxas 360 kit for my N-Stampede, but the tower issues turned me off... ended up with a side pipe. :(.

Anyway, nice looking Sport. :)

Those have been in and out of stock for a little while now. Looks like they still have a few more to sell. :)

Yeah, that would be a good upgrade for your rear tower. I'd get one now before they run out of them again. Another Marshal (Mike505) really likes those rear towers. You'll probably have to mount the body a little differently, though.

You have to clean the crap out of that, even mine isn't that dirty. Nice count head and you don't need zip ties on it, I didnt and mine is just fine. You might want to get a rec box so the servo under it doesn't move when you try to turn.

well, let the repairing begin:
1) replaced screws in chassis
2) added a 5 cell pack{explained next}
3) replaced screws in ez start motor
4) replaced front steering linkage(one
side was 2 short, used one off the e-pede)
This one is stock, has bronze bushings in wheels still.
used a old toy car antenna for a antenna, range will work fine. tested it. :)

ok, heres the mod for the 5 cell pack i did:
1) took a old ez start wire set, cut off the end
2) soldered it to the rec pack wires replaceing the stock plug.
3) using the matching end, made a adaptor for my rec pack chrger.
BINGO! 4 to 5 cell swap a sucess.

That looks like a motor saver air filter to me. I have heard some mixed reviews about them but over all I think it fine.
