keep my set up or upgrade?

I'm running the novak 5.5. I love it but I would like to be able to go faster on road. Thinking of talking my girlfriend into getting me a MMMv3 for x-mas then getting a tekno neu once they're in stock. I have a 2 SPC 2s2p 8000mah lipos. If I do decide to get a MMM I'll get 2 SPC 3s 8000mah lipo. I'll defenatly keep the novak as a back up. Just throwing this out there. I want to get more torque. Will there be a difference on 4s. Plus my cousin is getting a medusa and an mm for his rusty so I want my Erevo to keep up a little on-road.

On 6S my MMM v2 and Neu 1515/1Y/S will go just under 70mph. SO yes it will keep up with the Rusty, if not beat it. As for as power the NEU will put out more torque than the 5.5 Get the Neu if you want to do standing backflips. I had to set my throttle to 50% from a stop to prevent it from backflipping even with the Wheelie bar on.

Yeah especially off-road. the erevo ownes as is lol. I'm excited i'll keep the 5.5 maybe pick up a roller slash and find a way to stick it in that. idk.

So youll be able to keep up mainly cause it will flip onto his lid from wheelies.Thats spoken like someone who's never gone 70 in an E-revo.I'll tell you this,on 6s geared for 60,it will still flip on it's lid if you hit full throttle.All I could pull was 56,and I just touched full throttle.If I could actually hold it there it should have easily gone over 60.Where as I can hit 65 in the same spot with my Rusty.6s Erevo can be just as crazy as a 3s Rustler.

Yeah but my girlfriend is getting me the mamba monster or x-mas so I will be saving money by getting the tekno neu. Instead of me buying the $300 combo I'm buying just the motor which is like $250.

why dont you just buy the MMM combo instead of the neu/MMMesc, then you can spend the money you were gonna spend on the MMMesc on lipos

She wont buy me the 300 dollar combo so i'm getting the esc and i'll spend only 250 on a neu which will save me money. I have lipo's and I don't want 2 3s yet. I'll get that later.

i dunno, it just seems like the neu is totally overpriced compared to the MMM combo price. if i were you id get the combo and have your gf get you something else for xmas.

I've been think and I think i'm going to get the combo. I don't think there's any difference between the ccneu and the tekno neu. But I would love to get someone's opinioin on the performance of the combo. I doubt its any different from the tekno neu. The only thing i'm worried about is the quality of the ccneu.
