Im going to buy that new brushless e-revo which comes available soon. That will be my first car:D ...Before i buy that car i collect all other stuff needed for this hobby.
Can you list me some spare parts which would be good to be in "own stock"?? (parts that got easily broken, etc..)
Charger i´ve allready bought(Venom ProCharger), now im thinking what batteries would be good?!
These MaxAmpps i think i get->http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.php?prod=MA-8000-EREVO-Pair&cat=172
Do these *****s->http://www.*********.com/*********/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=6350&Product_Name=*****-H_5000mAh_3S1P_20-30C_Lipoly_Pack fit in e-revo?!?
And any other recommendation to batteries?!
Is ProLine Masher(40 series) tires good to e-revo?? And some other tire recommendation?!
Im very grateful for any answer and help:D :D

I ordered these about a month ago, have received them and they do fit into my e-revo. A tight fit (width makes the doors a bit tight to close) but they definitely fit. I'm waiting for my MMM combo to use them. Looking forward to it all coming together.

Better Price-Quality in these 6500´s?? I just thought those 8000´s cause should got longer runtime...

Well as far as easily broken.....not really. I hit a car tire today on 6s only thing that happened was that a tire needed to be reglued.

th 6500's are 30c they can put out 195 amps constant. the 8000's can put out 160 amps constant. the 6500's are more suited for the application

Those zippies will not work stock. You would need a mess of different electronics to use those. A 6s ESC, Different Motor, and probably a new Transmitter and receiver...
As for the MA batteries...I dont care for them. The 8000 will yield longer runtimes than the 6500 tho. You wont pull anywhere near 160A constant. Its more like 40. You will get spikes over 200 tho they will be short (this is normal).
I recommend the TRC 15C 8000's, and other have really liked their SPC 8000's. They are priced much better than MA and tests have shown that they (TRC) out-perform them(MA).

oh brother.... maxamps will do just fine. also i would not get any battery under 20c... its better to have a battery that is overkill than one you are going to red line.

I'm not trying to start any fights. Just give an opinion based on the information I have read (and seen). Maxamps 20C batteries were proven not to hold their mah when discharged at 20c (even though they were rated to). Maxamps admits to this, yet never changed the specs on their website. When this discussion came up on their website forum, they deleted it. The "20c" 8000mah battery has been shown to only hold their mah at 16-17c output. TRC and SPC have been open to show graphs and data based on actual testing of their batteries. It makes me wonder why Maxamps won't do the same. What are they hiding? Maybe nothing...but in the past, it was false numbers...
So, for me, If I am going to get a battery under 20c in any case....I'll go for the one that costs me less. Many others feel the same way. So I thought I would share this information. Anyone who wants the info can read the results of the tests kulangflow did, but he is not the only one..... ppl on RCM have done testing to prove the same.

By all means, people are free to do what they like. MaxAmps has one of the best marketing campaigns in the industry. I dont know of many other companies selling bundles designed specificly for Traxxas vehicles like they are. So when people dont know where else to turn, they go to the company that makes it simple.
The big question everyone has when they buy an electric Traxxas vehicle is "What batteries will work?" (probably why Traxxas is starting to sell batteries now...)
But if you search on the net, the first company to give a definitave answer is Maxamps. You can click on a page with a list of batteries listed for the E-revo on their website. I dont know any other battery company that has a dedicated page to batteries that will fit in the E-revo.
Its great marketing on their part.
but they need to pay for it somehow.....

Im looking at MaxAmps and found 11.1v. Will they also fit in the new revo bl?

Yeah, they will fit the brushless revo. I have ma 8000's and spc 8000's running a castle 2200 combo, and to be honest with you I can't tell a difference between the two. Run times, power , and heat are almost identical. So I would get what you want. The spc's are much cheaper, but they both perform the same from my point of view. Both great batteries in my opinion.
