^I called tower hobby before I placed my order with superfastrc, they had no idea when the cc mmm/2200 was going to be in inventory. superfastrc said that dealers/distributors only received 10% of their initial orders for the cc combo.

John is a great guy i called him and ordered my MMM COMBO from him yesterday... he sent it out to me same day with all the shipping information in my email within an hour of ordering it! :D

he gave me some awesome feedback about the combo! he said it is just plain POWERFUL! he said it is very smooth and the temps were very cool on the castle motor... also he said he could hardly see or feel a difference between the castle 2200 motor and the NEU 1515 1y, he said they basically run the same all the way down to temps... now this is a brief on day review so take it for what its worth, but knowing and having castle products from before i am confident it is all he said and more!

hopefully i get it soon but im on the other side of the coast from him so i will likely get it friday... im sure by then someone will have it and have posted pics and a brief review but if not i will :cool:

P.S. i think he has one more combo in stock!! its a little more expensive than you can get on tower with discounts or elsewhere but hey for the service and having them first and in hand i think its worth the little extra $

How can this be, shouldn't it be a lower price when I buy direct from Castle Creations compare to a store?

I feel miss led in this, why should I buy my Mamba Monster ESC and 2200kv motor Combo from Castle Creations for 349.00 when I can get the same parts from Super Fast RC? for $298.42.:(

It comes with an 18 tooth pinion from castle.
All 10 AWG wires and all already soldered!
All you need to do is solder on the series connectors of your choice and go!

I wish i knew it came with an 18 tooth because I ordered a Robinson 18 and 20 tooth also.

oh dear indeed, man if that isnt a kick in nether regions i dont know what is. It does look super cool though, i cant wait to get mine from tower but they are taking forever and the constant changing or dates is doing my head in, but i am sure it will be well worth the wait.

OK, got some updates. I had to do some squeezing around the lower part of the case, and it's now working. Seems that a wire inside is loose, or not soldered properly.
Got the motor running and the link connected, but any moderate pressure on the case turns the ESC off.

I'm gonna use it this way til the new one comes.

NOW, off to install in the revo :)

Well that's it he is sold out. I just ordered up the last one. What a nice guy to i called and its 5 o'clock his time but i wanted it over night. So he is going to personally go to USPS for my shipment to make sure it goes out 20 minutes each way! now thats some dedication I cant wait to get it and i cant say enough good things about superfast rc. They have been doing this for a while now and it getting annoying, getting my hopes up like that only for it to be changed again:( i wonder whether its due to them fulfilling the orders and them waiting to get more in? either way i hope i get mine soon or at least before christmas. going to have to wait probs two weeks for it to be delivered from the US too :(

Sorry to say but only a miracle could bring the erevo to Europe before the end of December, I also live in EU.

In addition Traxxas stated January, so I see no reason but marketing one to claim it will be available on December.

We should get it at the end of January, hoping the shipment don't get lost during the long and risky trip.

I only use Neu motors in my helis, but if you need more power in your RC car then the castle 2200 motor can supply on 6S lipos, you should be flying jets instead!!

It back flips, balloons the tires, rips the beads loose, completely demolished my stone driveway and so far runs cool, but it is 35 degrees here, so it should run cold.
