Keep us informed on it in the near future.
Looks like we will hear more reviews on it soon as places like Towerhobbies has some in stock.

I just snagged some *****-H 5s 5k packs myself for my 8ight-t conversion. Seem nice so far..
PS MY two v3 MMM's both have 10+ hours of track time each, of very hard racing.. one day was 3hrs constant; no breaks other than battery swaps. Maybe 2hrs each for some bashing in the yard and on the street on top of that.

are they less easy to melt? real deans have this problem!

melt?
I have only had a problem during unsoldering one once because I wasnt paying attension, never during normal running.
it helps if you plug two of them together while soldering...it helps to disapate heat.

well i use a 80watt iorn so things get hot fast you have to be quick. the 40w doesnot like 10g wire.

man after reading that... AHHHH!!! I WANT the MMM V3 combo SO BAD now! >_<
My 2nd E-Revo is just sitting in it's box waiting to be unleashed!
41.4 MPH? turn it up a notch! BAM! 6s power baby! Crank it up to 60 MPH and show those nitros who is boss!
One of my tires ripped while I was driving it to. Made that cool loud vibrating bass sound! I thought it was the wind, but it sounded cool... until the tire finally blew.
Keep us posted on your runs. I'm actually counting MMM failures, but regardless of the last 3, I still have high hopes, and definitely buying the MMM combo pack with the 2200kv

THATS what I like to hear! :D
I think it was The Oracle that said it doesn't matter if you run 4s or 6s, it has the potential to fail either way.
I'm gonna run 6s to. I mean... if I wanted to run 4s, I would have bought a Novak HV. Screw that... go big or go home.

Hey, how many times have you ran it on 6s? It's passed the amount of times as the last time it went up in smoke I assume?
How much did it cost to get it fixed, or was it free under warranty?
I'm still completely new to Castle Creation products, but the 2200KV combo is on the top of my wish list. :o

it was free under warranty but I had 11 runs on my last v3 and I upped it to 6s and at the end of the run it blew smoke. Besides I don't have the gearing right now for 6s

My 1st one (MMM) lasted all of 5 minutes before it just stopped. The second one had about 40 hours on it before it burst into flames. The 3rd one ran for about 4 hours before it just stopped. I have been running my V3 for about a total of about 15 hours. The only thing it has ever cost me was my initial purchase price ($170). Every replacement has been free. as for the newest version (v3) So far, so good. I did do something different tho, I changed my gearing. The first few ESC's I had the truck geared for 40mph on 4s and about 60mph on 6s, I want to say I geared 62/24. Now, I only run on 6s and I geared 65/20 and 65/18 both without issue so far. I can run 3 sets of packs through the truck for well over an hour and a half and whan I'm done I can Palm the motor with my hand. My temps havent hit above 120F on anything and I'm geared for 45-50mph. goodtimes!

45-50... I want 60+ :) I wanna smoke a Novak HV, and leave my own Twin VXL standing still.
MMM has come a long way. I always looked down on it since V1 and V2 started frying, but it looks like Castle finally got it right. There's only 3 failures I know of, but considering how many are out there, that's very little. Like the Oracle said, all ESCs have ups and downs.
Do these MMMs have a lift time expectancy? Meaning... are they rated to only live a certain amount of time, like 40 hours and then send it back to CC?
Keep us posted Hoov. I'm constantly checking your posts as well as Brushlessman on how your systems are doing. Man, it's like checking on an unborn child (just waiting for it to be born to reek havoc and chaos on the track.

The manager at my LVC is saying the 2200KV MMM combo will be $296. The CC website says $350 ish. Who is right?

Good to hear that the V3 is working good on 6S. Mine is in the mail as I type this!! I'll be running a Medusa 1600 with 24/62 gearing on 6S, should be a good 45+mph. Plenty of snow jumping fun here in Kodiak!

I don't quite understand what you guys means as far as pinions when you say like 62/24, or 62/20. I'm assuming the 24 and 20 is the count for the teeth on the pinion, but what does the 62 stand for?
and yes... I did try searching through suicideneils FAQ before I asked ^_^

24/62
24 stands for the motor pinion
62 for the spur gear on the transmission
Hope this helps...

the spur gear. I'm running 25/68 right now a little to high for 6s to be driveable

my e-revo can easily hit 60+ mph, but its not really driving or even bashing at that point. its just too fast. im over my "speedrun" phase and im onto a "running on the track" kick. right now, even geared for mid 40's is too fast for the small tracks I run on.
i am enjoying the truck more now that i can actually control it. shes a screamer

My MMMv3 will be here Monday.... To the people who have good V3's.... Are you installing Plug n Play with no alterations. I will be running 2 3s. Can I just plug this baby in and get rid of all the extra garbage abd wires I installed on the V2 ??? Thanks !

My V3 should be here by Wednesday! I got my motor today (Medusa 30-60 1600kv). Can't wait to let this sucker rip at 6S
BTW, very impressed with the medusa quality:wub:
Should be a whole lot better than the vxl setup I had (never got it to work correctly)
