The summit doesn't come with a 2.4 Ghz radio. Only the E-Revo BL does. <_<

It's not 4 ch.Plus why would you buy it.It has no stearing trim it's the basic controller that comes with all the other cars..I can't for the life of me wounder why they would use the same ugly brown controller for a 2.4.Plus it's not just me if you call traxxas and ask anybody why that won't change it.They say they fight with them all the time to change the radio.

I'm using the stock radio on my T-MAXX, wouldn't it be cool to get the TQ 4? Could put head and tail lights, along with a light bar. You could turn the head/tail lights on with one position, and turn all of them on with the other. Now, if you really wanted to go crazy, you could get this piece of equipment that came out when the reverse unit came out for the Savage (since most people with the Savage SS had 2 channel radios), that you plugged into the throttle (2nd) channel on the receiver, and when you held down the brake for 3 seconds, it would activate the other servo and put it into reverse. You could use that and basically have a cheap 5 channel radio. If you got rid of reverse (on my T-MAXX) and use the 3rd channel, you could activate 3 functions from you transmitter. Say, for example, could use the piece of equipment I mentioned for the Savage to activate reverse (on the T-MAXX), use the 3rd channel (normally used for reverse) to turn on or off the cooling fan that you can get for this cooling head, and use that 4th channel that the Summit uses for the diffs to activate the light system I mentioned earlier. That would be one cool truck (would be great for building a show truck). What do you think?

Petox20: from what I understand, the summit has working lights, by remote.

bosco72: looks like both remotes have trims.

Mr. Clean, I know the Summit has working lights. I was talking about using the radio system FROM the Summit on other vehicles (such as my T-MAXX) to control onboard functions, such as a full light system, ON ANOTHER VEHICLE  . Read my post a little more carefully, I think it is a great idea.
