i was wondering if the revo center diff and rear brake kit will bolt onto the slayer? if so what weight diff oil do u use?

the center diff controls the wheel spin. if one tire is spinning fatser then the others i will add more power to the other tires. hope this help

The center diff will fit but you have to change the primary gear as well. The Revo and Slayer use different ratios, so the center diff which is designed for the Revo has a different gearing than the Slayer. Doing this of course lowers the overall gear ratio, and you will need to compensate by using a bigger bell or smaller spur gear. Because the Traxxas diffs only use 4 internal gears you have to use thicker oil than 1/8 scale diffs, most recommend 500,000 wt oil in the center diff.

Here is a picture of the center diff for the Revo (right) and the stock Slayer. You can see the gear is much larger on the Revo center diff kit.
Here is the stock Slayer tranny. This is why you have to also change out the primary gear (the one with the metal c-clip in the picture) to match the Revo center diff kit.
