Today I took my Slayer to a local track. I have one word to say about it and thats tough. This was my first time on a track and I had hardly drove my Slayer so I wasnt very used to it in the video. Man was it fun despite the video which was tooken when we just got there and I was still getting used to the truck and track I was power sliding and flying over the jumps. This was great on the track it was also the envy of every one there:D. This video is pretty bad and the big jump in the back that I never went off just drove down in the video is actually pretty easy after I got my confidence up I was jumping it. I didnt attempt this in the video but no matter what I did I could not make the double.
After two hours of driving I did sorta brake a part but I just didnt have the tool to fix it.

I've seen this a time or 7 so far. 1fasterevo said Traxxas makes some knuckles w/ steel rings that stop this from happening.

that jato looks pretty sick with those tires on there. get some more video up from the track....i really wanna see more of it before i buy one.
Cynix

Next time I go I will try and bring it and film it. The Jato was a challenge to keep in a strait line but was fun.
Try pro-line "the edge" tyres on the front of your jato

You'll get it.Maybe you will have to create a new line from outside the track to get it into second gear!;)

Buy one? Did you call Traxxas customer service? Your Slayer is still under warranty so they should replace for you for free.

Hay Cynix the track is pretty easy on the cars and the jumps are that bad, you just have to go for them.

Cynix I own the track you were at last sunday. Yes I built that place and I run races there every saturday. So I know what it takes to clear all jumps there.

Thats so cool that you have an account here. Did you come out and talk to me before we left? We had the red truck with a Black and Red Slayer Red Slash and Jato. I had a lot of fun keeo up the good work on the track. I can make most of the jumps pretty well but no matter what I do I cant make the double.

Thats going to pop again, very common in Revo's. Get pn 5334r, which has a steel ring to prevent the ball from popping out. I am very surprised Traxxas did not use them in the first place.

Cynix

Glad you got that pillow ball problem sorted out. It goes either way by the way, pillow or pivot.
Your signature should read "I'm living the dream of CORR truck madness" not "I'm living the of CORR truck dream of madness". That doesn't really make sense. ;)

I went and it was awesome I am getting pretty good. The track was a little different today and I think I like the way it is now better. Also I can almost make the big double in the front I just need a little more speed hopefully next time I will make it. The Slayer was like a tank after 2 or 3 hours of driving nothing broke and ran like a charm. On the Slash a shock cap blew and the spur gear needed to be re aligned and the Jato stripped a spur and broke an A arms. I brought the camera but the battery's were dead. Next time I will check the batterys before I leave.
