I saw it too. They had it running for a total of three seconds then rolled it down a 3 foot model of a hill to test the outrigger thing they were testing to keep a car from rolling over. Basically pointless. Speaking about the 4tec, did anybody see the ad for it in the back of this and last month's Motor Trend?

I dont like that show very much. They're trying to be like the Mythbusters, but every time they "invent" something, it is completely impractical and they can't even get it to work most of the time.

I agree with Rusty Nail, I just watched that 30 seconds ago (Quite a coincidence) and it was pointless, and they were trying to be scientific about it, but they just suck.
But the "Experiment" was the stupidest thing ever, they just pushed it of the edge of a 2 foot drop. I really can't stand the chick on that show.

Yeah, I seen it to. I was watching it when they took out an RC car and I was like, holy crap!, that is a 4-tec. Look at the bright side: at least traxxas got some business from them.
I tend to agree with others who say the show stinks. I have yet to see something that would actually work in the real world.
I don't even like the new mythbusters anymore. I was a big fan of their older shows, but the new ones stink. They are reading off a script and it sounds like it too. They got too big for their own good IMO. There is one coming up tonight and I will see how it is.

I agree in the beginning you know how they discuss whats myths their gonna do i mean they know them already and they are scripted to act like the dont its cool seeing things just go boom though

I remember watching my first Smash Lab and it was the last one too. They showed how at the end of runways for air planes, there is this special kind of concrete that collapses under the weight of a commercial jet. So during an emergency when the breaks fail to stop the plane, the plane will head towards this special concrete and the landing gear will sink right though the concrete and the plane will slide on it's belly causing great friction to bring it to a halt.
So these clowns at Smash Lab say "Hey, I bet this will work the same for cars too! And maybe this will be used on real roads to save lives!" and sure enough they tried it. It was like a house fly landing on a mouse trap, in other words not enough weight! The car drove right over it. They really need to do calculations in scale size rather than just lighting fuses. The road designers are a LONG step ahead of them. I'm just glad they can't change the roads because they'd only make things worse.

Yep I hate it when people do that kind of thing and I hate to say this but I think when they where done with the poor 4-Tec they chucked in the bin. :(

Yeah I saw that but I questioned it a little bit.

I also like the Mythbusters because, if the myth that they are testing doesn't work, they will still do what ever they can to destroy something.
