View Full Version : Any chance of using slayer 4x4 on slash?

I really want a brushless 1/10 4x4 (smaller than maxx/revo). Anybody think the 4x4 of the slayer will bolt up to the slash? Or would it just be better to make the slayer 4x4? I dont like nitro -> electric conversions though.

No it will not fit, sorry! :)
you will have to convert to electric.

Keep in mind it isn't a lot smaller than a Maxx or Revo, just narrower.

Here is my soon to be e-slayer.. built from an e-revo that is just waiting on the slayer suspension parts and tires etc to finish up the conversion ;) It will have a wheel base 1" longer than the slash and about 1.5" longer than the slayer, the width is identicle...

The Slash and the Slayer share the exact same body if im not mistaken?? So really there is no "size" difference between the slash/slayer and a revo, unless its a 3.3 in that case it would be shorter in stature but otherwise the same. Correct me if im wrong, but my slash body would fit on my 2.5 revo with slight trimming, and will when i get the conversion going :D-Q

You can convert the slash to 4x4 just like the stampede was. Since the are the same basic setup, it should be fairly straight forward. Check out the pede forums and 4x4 conversions.

smaller tires are much easier to spool up which means less amp draw on acceleration which means cooler electronics and longer run times.
