Red has a Trinty Monster pro E-maxx with 23/86 gearing

Blue has a Velieneon VXL with 19/86 Gearing

Both are running Venom 4200 7cell 8.4 batteries

Blue has a fantastic top end and road grip advantage, but red is a little more foregiving and fairly close to top end speed. So in head to head challenges, it is about equal and comes down to driving abilites.

But the WOW factor is definetly in the upgrades, blue wins that hands down

Thanks to all the postings that inspired the tires and suspension upgrades, it is well worth it.

How are hte beadlocks holding up to the high speed and power of the VXL??

I was curious about that as I thought about trying my rock crawler rims on my Slash but there is clearance issues in the wheel wells...

The Beadlocks seem to be doing fine, no problems yet. but i am keeping the speed down with the gearing.

THe RPM arms help with the tire Clearance issue, but you can see i cut about 1/4 of the body on the front edge and above the front tire. Back tire needed about the same from the forward wheel well.

Nice looking set up with the blue one Slew, now I don't have to use my imagination of what mine will look like with a similar set-up... Very well done.

Yup, Stock Hex with the Axial rims. They seemed a little loose, but when tightened they are fine.
