O really? thanks for clearing that up are you guys going to have a size comparison picture with a Rustler like you guys did with the Slash?

Looks to be forward only as well. Who needs reverse anyways right, just more to slow you down ahaha

There's not really a reason for the comparison due to the fact that the body is the same size. The comparison is identical.

okay a few other things i noticed. first the slayer has half an inch less ground clearance than the slash and about 1 full inch less clearance than the revo. overall height the slayer is just slightly taller than the slash. and yes it is only forward only. about the only major number the slayer has over the slash is it is about 15 mph faster than the slash with a 23t pinion and a 7cell pack. as for why i wont get the truck it has nothing to do with the looks or anything. it is since i just got rid of my nitro stuff due to deciding that i want to stay electric. now however that dont mean i might not think of getting a roller and doing the revo electric conversion on it. overall the slayer will beat a slash. but the slash is made for a different racing class. slayer is 4wd corr style. slash is 2wd corr style. so really most official classes will not have them face each other. i dont know if the slash even with brushless and lipo has enough to beat a pretty much stock slayer. but hey i dont care. i lvoe the slash and the slayer is awesome. but then far as i am concerned every traxxas vehicle is awesome.

exactly you they are in two different classes so they are both made to do differant things.

yep. slayer is 4wd and nitro. slash is 2wd and electric. what i think wil lbe interesting to see is who will be the first to make the slayer 2wd? and who will make the slash 4wd first? and who will have the first slayer conversion?

i think everyone who complained/ requested for a nitro slash or 4wd slash at its release got what they asked for and its combined into a nitro 4wd. i think those ppl should have brushed up on their patience skills

I had a feeling that the slash would just be a cover up for this beast

When I first saw it I thought "Yep Traxxas just converted the Slash to a VXL."
THEN I saw "Nitro!" It's cool although I'll be calling it a dwarf Revo. :D
