View Full Version : tire wear
Hey, i am new and i have been running my slash for about 3 days now for aroung 10-20 minutes a day on pavement, dirt and gravel and it seems as though th tires are wearing on the inside on the driver side and on the outside on the passanger side. Like i said i am new, is this normal, or should i be seeing a different wearing pattern? If i can i will get some pics tomorrow to show what i mean.

normaly you will get more wear on the inside of the tyres due to the camber
check your camber link lengths and see if one wheel is leaning the wrong way
if the camber doesnt bother you then just switch the wheels rouns every so often so they get even wear on both sides

Are you driving in counter clockwise circles all day :D
Like Sammy said, check your camber to make sure you're not out of line.

All tires will wear down fast if you're on the throttle while turning. I seldomly give it gas while turning, usually let them coast through the turns and then get back on it when it's close to being straight again.
Unless I whipping a donut in dirt, but I hardly ever do that anymore.

You're welcome. Your car or truck will turn better if you're not on the throttle as well because it throws the weight of the r/c forward. More weight pushing down on the front tires.
