I am pretty stoked about my price! $444.95, and that is from my LHS!!! No shipping costs, and I get to support my LHS, unlike some of you cheap-skates! Just kidding! But seriously…..:p

The owner has been awesome about keeping me up to date on what he was hearing around the industry about the 3908, which is now the new E-Revo. He is a great guy, and deserves my business. I would have bought it from him regardless of the price, because the customer service that he provides is well worth it. Just had to share my good news about the price from my LHS!

Nah man, the 3908! Don’t you know about the history of the mythical 3908? Just do a forum search about the 3908 and you’ll see what I am talking about. A few of the guys on this forum that are regulars know all about what I am talking about. In fact, it was kind of a sore subject around here. It was the proposed brushless version of the new EMaxx. It had a part #, was listed on a few hobby distributors websites, and drew a lot of attention. Of course they duped us, and dropped the E-Revo on us! Do the search, it is actually quite interesting. It is just a part of Traxxas’ phenomenal marketing history!

Yeah, my adjusted total is $413.04 after the discount. But then under that they have a charge of $9.95 added for ground shipping. Are you talking about when you complete and pay for the order that you get another shipping discount? Or do they give you an option for free shipping?

the issue is july 08 i just recieved it yesterday on 5-15-08.the article was written by the RCX 2008 show which says $550.
