what are your thoughts on this conversion kit?im planning to get one.is it true that i cant use feigao motor on these kits coz the motor would be too long?is it a good conversion?im not very good on fabrication and would very much like a bolt on conversion.i also like the mechanical brakes.thanks in advance

why not get blue gvoove rc concepts conversion it is a lot cheaper and works with a lot of motors as long as they have a 5mm shaft(you can use a 3.2mm shaft but it may break) here is the link

oh yeah the tekno conversion is pretty cool and does work but it works only on a box stock revo and is only compatible with non nitro related upgrades

BlueGroove conversion isnt very popular, and when I looked at it, I can see why. Cheap conversion, using a 3s system is what they suggest = no good for a 10lb MT, no good at all...

there is also this one (http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail.php?prod=RCMrevomount&cat=44)it is a better version of blue groove

Much better than Bluegroove. The tekno conversion only allows you to run forwards with mech brakes, but the RCM conversion allows motor braking too if you choose it, or just mech brakes... or both....

that is what they used since they were using the mamda max esc so if you put in a mamba monster max esc and put in a 6s 4000mah battery that should be enough

i managed to get me a tekno rc conversion, i must say the illustrations are lacking with the build kit. i had to refit a few of the items a few times like the radio box and battery tray. all in all it was quite simple, right now i have a dummy motor fitted up to it. next step is the mmm , 1515 and am looking at going with a 4600 a123. some guys here want 350AUD for a mmm delivered. this is where patience has a dollar value.
