I think its WAY over priced because of the plastic chasis and cheap titan motors. It should be around 300-350 if not lower. Im a big fan of revos and all but for a plastic chasis and the titans its over priced. The revo 3.3 is around 40 dollars more and has a 120 dollar engine, aluminum chasis, and so on.

I don't think it should to be anymore expensive than the e-maxx.....it dosen't seem like it would cost any more money for them to make.

The entire design is better from top to bottom vs the 3905! The erevo is more durable, the suspension makes it more nimble, as well as a better racer & jumper. Not to mention it comes with the wing & mount, better shocks, and don't forget the upgraded digital high torque water proof servo's. I think that is a great to market price.... but I see a $25.00 reduction happening as soon as traxxas get's the supply up.. 3~4 months. That doesn't include any coupons you use from towers :cool:


PS it's not going to be right for everyone.. but it is the best available (almost available)! Just think how many millions of people are happy with Radio Shack RC's :)

You may think it is a rip off, but what you are failing to realize is that although a pair of titans is cheaper than a 3.3, an evx-2 combined with that is not. The plastic chassis does not drop the price $200. The aluminum chassis does not even cost that much. Heck, the e revo comes with good shock(Just checked, they look like Hard annodized gtr shocks with TiN shafts which cost 70 some odd dollars), a wing and mount and digital servos and the new reciever. The N revo doesn't have that stuff yet.

No sadly the erevo’s battery tray will not fit the 3s2p 8000mah lipo & that is confirmed :(

They will NOT fit the 3s2p 6000mah lipo either.. 30mm height is the max height and those lipo's are 32mm, just a little too big... so at least the maxamps larger 3s2p packs are all out.

The 2s2p 8000mah pack WILL fit, and the 3s 5000mah pack WILL fit (maxamps).

My guess is it'll be:
A2 Red
A4 Black
A5 Silver
A6 Blue

That's the color code that the VXL's use as well as the E-Maxx, only the E-Maxx has White as A5 instead of Silver.

Im not saying the aluminum chasis is more, its just more reasonable to have a 450 dollar car with a thick aluminum chasis than i 450 dollar car with plastic chasis. Even if the plastick is stronger. If they get the engines from china for 10 dollars imagine what they get the 30 dollar titans from china for.

Im not flaming you just making a point. I know how awsome revos are cause i have the revo 3.3.

You're saying that even if the "plastic" is stronger, it still isn't better? What do YOU want out of your competition grade monster truck? Big, heavy, aluminum parts so you can FEEL better about what you've purchased? Or a meticulously engineered, high quality, injection molded, composite material chassis that's right for the application?

You couldn't do half of the things Traxxas has done with the E-Revo with an aluminum frame. The battery boxes, the weight distribution, the water-proof ability.

Traxxas designed the E-Revo to be a competition grade, electric powered monster truck that's attainable at a reasonable price. That's exactly what you'll pay for, and it's exactly what you'll get.
