To be honest I have not been a big fan of the stock Traxxas bodies. Maybe I'm a minimalist, but they seemed to always be way too busy. However, the new Revo body looks great! They put in detail that's eye catching but doesn't look like clown puke.
Anyone know how thick the bodies are?

What did the bodies look like before the 3.3? I thought they looked the same. The new ones are sweet. :)

I just may have to get the clear version of the shell for the e-maxx.
Looks pretty similar to the s-maxx body(stadium):

I am guessing the s-maxx body would come up a little short on the revo and 3905 e-maxx.

I don't like very much the body of the E-Revo. It is very flat ! The E-Revo seems to be a pure racer truck with this body, and not a basher MT. I prefer the bodies of the Maxx trucks by far

I actually like em low n flat like that for bashing better(not to mention the aerodynamic advantage).
With my e-maxx(3905), if I'd flip or roll with the stock shell, it crashed as you would expect. With my new shell(proline desert rat) which is similar in shape to the e-revo shell, it tends to slide on it's lid much easier as opposed to the stock body that would tend to roll more. Kinda hard to explain.
Besides, who says you can't bash a racer?

i can't decide wethr i like it, but when i get one if o don't like it, i'll just have to bash it to destruction lol OR i might be nice and if anyone on here would want it i'll just give them it, got like 5 bodies off my t-maxx that i prefer.

I think the E-revo body is one of the best lookin bodys ever! I thought the Rustu VXL bodies were cool, why that E-Revo is just plain sleek, yet muscular at the same time! I looove it! :)

Anyone know how thick they are? 1.5mm? The Stampede was very thin, about .75mm IIRC and was torn to shreds in no time. I'm hoping the bigger trucks have thicker bodies.

Got calipers? The nitro shellls for the Rustler and Stampede are just as thick as the electric versions (.75mm).

I prefer the bodies of the Maxx trucks by far :wub:I agree. The thing that bummed me out about the E-Revo was the body. Just not a fan of those stadium truck looking bodies mounted on monster trucks... other than that, though... she looks like a fun truck! :)
