the 3.3 is a lil hard to handle even with weight in the front... i just feel like im not truly fixin the prob anyways, so i was thinkin goin to a .12tz, i have heard they are just about the right amount to race... doesnt sound like enough motor though, even in a jato.... any other opt.s??

Man, go down to a roar race and watch the people with the .12 engines in them. The .12 gets more rpms so it will get more top speed. I don't think it will have as much acceleration but that is ok because the people that are running with you in a stadium truck class will (or should) be running a .12 engine. But you will need to modify the 12tz to fit (the crank and clutch nut)

I'm running a RB V12 in my race Jato with a single speed trans and IMO it has more than enough power for the track. I have a .12TZ in a non-Traxxas ST and it's also a great mill with lots of top-end power. My friend has a stock 2.5 Jato and my .12 keeps right up with his until I max out around 40-45MPH because of the SS trans.
