Have yall highlighted the numbers on the Slash intro page? It says like Resonator tuned pipe and EZ Start and Auto Shifting 2 Speed Tranny.. idk if Traxxas has noticed this but people might be getting confused about this and thinking it is Nitro, which it isnt....... and also, this is one of the coolest things ive seen in a while... and lots of the parts should be compatable w/ my Rusty :D Gj Traxxas, seriously, this is gonna put you even one more step up above the compitition.... And yea if you cant go brushless on this thing, yall should run it on 8 cells.. on my Rusty on 8 cells, it beats my 2.5 Tmaxx by about 1-2 MPH top speed [around 42 MPH w/ my gearing] Thats a really good speed, and the torque is insane! Just saying if anyone cant afford brushless, its a great alternative! [The XL-5 handles 8 cells fine btw, i REALLY love the new XL-5 waterproof, ill be getting one for my Rusty for sure.]

I see what you are saying about the intro page. All they did was use the template from a page about the t-maxx or revo and just put the stuff about the slash on them and didn't change the comments on the numbers.
I may do they same as you and get one of those waterproof XL-5s in my pede and modify the chassis to mount a receiver box. But this new truck is going to be awesome. Just hope it is not too expensive.:D
