Ipod Touch Possible Price Drop

Hey all i just ran across this article and i am super excited because i have been simply waiting for the price to come down and then i will be the first one in the door to buy one because they have to be the coolest thing other.

this is super awesome because a 8gb could now only be 200 which is great i am so excited and just had to tell someone about this and since my parents dont get this stuff i had to turn to you guys

im just waiting for it to happen in the next few days

they are'nt gonna sell the 8 gig for $200 because then ipod **** sales would drop severely. Maybe they will drop it down to $250 though, that would be nice.

I am posting on my supper cool iPod touch that I got at target for300$ with a 50$ gift card. I got it last weekend and love it. It has the new email,map,stock,and weather apps too. You can do soooooo much on it.

MacRumors doesn't have a great track record of reliability. $249-279 wouldn't be surprising, but even with the prices of solid-state memory right now, a $200 Touch isn't going to happen anytime soon unless they cut both it and the **** to zero-profit MSRPs.

I used to have a Sony walkman that flipped the tape AUTOMATICALLY, how bout those apples. It had 2 gigs, used to tell me go gig me 2 fresh +aa's!!!! I thought it was funny

You might see the 8 gig go down to $250, but the 30 gig will never see prices that low, unless you get one off of ebay in a few years.

Honestly,if you consider all that they do and the features.Its worth the money I'm posting this reply on mine. Plus if you do what they call jailbreaking to the iPod you can get cool games and backgrounds and what not.

yep. I love mine. You should buy yours anyways even if they dont lower the price. I have a 16gb that i bought right when they came out. Also, make sure you buy a case for it. I didnt and i regret it now.

I like my dads I-touch, but when I see an i-phone it just seems that much better. I wish I could connect to the internet at my house the thing wont connect

yeah the iphone is sweeter but i cant afford that contract plus im on my parents family plan and dont pay anything and i would have to pay if is switched to at&t so im just gonna get a ipod touch

im glad i got my 32gig for 300. i wasnt about to pay 500 plus for it. if the prices go down it would be cool. as my brother wants one!
