View Full Version : Bad handling

I recently purchased a used 4-Tec and love the power it has. However, the handling is "squirrely" at best, as I can't keep it going in a straight line. I don't find any real play in the suspension, and I have aligned it to 2 deg camber and no toe in in the front, 2 deg rear. Not having anything to compare it to, is the 4-Tec just hard to handle because of its power, or is there something I can do to make it track better?

wider, stickier tires. give it a bigger foot print, and keep it striaght. also try the traxxas ball diff. i am pretty sure it should fit this model. with a limited slip, it should be more controlable. i have a full spool in my rustler. it tracks straight like a drag car man.

big bore shocks, hpi x pattern belted tires, ride height 5.5-6mm front, 7mm rear. here is a link for handling
