Does anyone what size ant type of screws you need for a complete Hammer. I want to do my new truck with all hex hardware. I searched the site and only found a list of all the hardware Traxxas makes.
Thanks a lot.

Check out this (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJH58&P=X) screw set. Not sure how accurate the list is, but it's the best I can do short of going through the manual and writing them all down!

Haha. I was going to go through the manual on your site. I think I'll just start with these and go from there.
I'm gonna go section by section this time. I just tore the dirty one down. Not sure I'm putting all the screws in the right spots. Heck I'm not sure if all the screws were right to begin with.
It's lookin good though. I have the whole front end reassembled and just started to clean up and lube the tranny.

Haha. I was going to go through the manual on your site. I think I'll just start with these and go from there. I don't blame you. When I set that kit up for my Bullet (took it totally apart, made a kit following the manual, and then built it according to the manual), that was a pain in the butt! I did it once just to say I did it, LOL. Sorting through all of those screws was not fun.
Good luck with the rebuild. I typically don't worry about which screws go where. I do my own thing in most cases... :)

LOL, so do I. I can also say I built a kit. My first Rustler in 1999 was a kit style w/msc. It was a good time. It must have took me a week to out it together in my free time(which was a lot back then). Funny to think on that and realize that it would only take a few hours now to throw a Rusty together from scratch.

My Bandit (now a Rustler) was my first kit. The first hobby class RC I ever had contact with was a kit (my dad's Traxxas Stampede in the mid 90's). This is usually where I would start blabbing on about the story of me hearing the truck in the basement for the first time, and how I got into racing, etc., etc. LOL! I'll spare you the reading, because I'm sure you already have heard it! :)

I'm not sure if it will fit or not but I think I have a spare [black] Hawk II front bumper that might work for your Sledgehammer project.
Does anyone here, know if a Hawk II front bumper will work on a Sledgehammer?
Dang that was fast Tom! Well, now that We have a part number,I checked my Hawk II manual and guess what? The Hawk II front bumper is the same part number for the Sledgehammer too.
Now I just have to root thru a couple of boxes and find my spare bumper and see what sort of shape its in.

Good thing I caught your edit. :) I was just going to say that the Hawk 2 uses the same bumper (part 1625). Oh wait, I said it anyway!
It looks like you've found one thing to check off from your list, TK!

Okay,I found the bumper.
Only had to look in two boxes.
It is lightly scuffed and it looks like someone has sanded it off somewhat[only on the lower face and bottom]No cracks or heavy dents though! I think its actually in better shape than the one on my wife's Hawk II.:D No worries there though, we bash the blazes out of it so it doesn't need a pretty bumper.
Because off the shape of the bumper, it might be a pain to ship in a bubble envelope but if you are willing to risk it,I will check and see if its okay to ship it that way. I don't know what the post office will charge for shipping it but I don't think it will be much more than five or six bucks, plus the cost of a bubble envelope[like a buck or so, I would guess],How about ten dollars shipped for the bumper? Be forewarned, I live in Canada and sometimes the old postal Dogsled runs pretty slow.
Anyways,if you are interested Pm me and we can work out the boring shipping details
