what kind of tuning has to be done b4 each run? and is it hard?

You can only tune after the car has started and it is usually only 2 adjustments, some times 3. it is easy.

I found that after I established the optimal settings, no substantial adjustments are needed. The carburetor only needs to be tweaked slightly at the start of each racing day. This depends on what engine and carburetor you running, and lots of others variables such as (elevation, temperatures and so forth). Some engines required less tweaking that others. I start by running my truck and taking notes on how it accelerates on straight-aways and out of turns. I also make judgements on how the other racers have their engines tuned (leaned out or fat). Then I take a temperature reading and I normally around 230* to 250*. Peace

thanks a lot, my LHS owner made it sound like you had to take the whole engine apart each time.
