I BOUGHT A STREET SPORT BECAUSE I WANTED SPEED. I GOT FULL BEARNINGS, A PACK OR RRP PINIONS, A NiMH BATTERY BUT MY CAR ONLY WENT 25 mph WHEN I CLOCKED IT WITH A 23 TOOTH PINION. ANY TIPS? OH YEAH, STOCK STINGER MOTOR TOO. AND MY STEERING SERVO CLICKS WHEN I TURN IT AND I CANT GET THE STEERING TRIM TO GO STRAIGHT. HELP PLEASE, IM BEGINNING TO HATE TRAXXAS B/C I HAVE EZ START PROBLEMS WITH MY T-MAXX. IM GETTING A RUSTLER SO I HOPE TRAXXAS MADE THAT BETTER THAT MY OTHER RCs.

and also, my car handles like when i try to race it with the t3s and stuff like that. id like to know what is different about other peoples cars who are like, "oh street sports handle great, everybody should have one", i tryed using yokomo medium soft slicks with traction compound and my handling still sucked.

I also had problems with the handling of my SS so I went and got some HPI V-tread pro-compound tires and adjusted the turnbuckles to toe-in just a little bit and that helped ALOT!! The t3 is a 4WD car so it is naturally going to turn better but just try the Hpi tires and mess with the turnbuckles and you'll be surprised!! Also, I'd say 25 mph with a stinger motor is pretty good but I would call Traxxas on that clicking servo though. I will tell you this, Traxxas does stand behing their products, I had a XL-1 esc that was about 4 days old and it just stopped working, I called Traxxas and they said to send it to them and within 3 working days they had sent me a replacment and I haven't had a problem since. Hope this helps. Any other problem just post!!:D

I put a 13 turn trinity motor with a tekin titan esc and a 25 tooth pinion. I run it on 2000's and mine does well over 25. I would estimate it at about 45. I put proline v-rages in the front and and treaded v type proline tire in the back and mine handles awesomely and it really moves.:D

The clicking, off center servo is caused by broken gear teeth in the servo geartrain. It would probably be cheaper and it would definitely be wiser to just buy a cheap futaba s3003 servo than to buy replacement gears for you yor traxxas servo. In my opinion Traxxas servos and radio systems are not very high quality, but thats the price you pay for having such great warranties and customer service.
