About the pro .15 engine!!
Hey I'm kinda new here, and I was wondering If the Nitro Buggy has gaskets under the header of the engine. If so, how much do they cost to replace?

buggyman, i think you might need to clarify your question a little.if you are talking about the engine's head on top of the engine, then it depends on the manufacturer.some put little shims under the head to vary compression but normally there is nothing but metal to metal contact. if you are talking about the exhaust header or manifold as it is also known as,on the side of the engine, there is a gasket.sometimes when you try to remove the header from the engine, the gasket sticks and tears.these gaskets are easily replaced.companies like team losi sell em in packs of three for about a couple of bucks.make sure that you clean of all of the old gasket material off of the header and engine before replacing the new gasket.also, this is a tip that a friend of mine's dad told me about so that you don't have to put on a new gasket everytime.before installing the new gasket, put on some black thrust bearing grease on each side of the gasket then install it. by doing this it should help prevent the gasket from tearing, and allows you to reuse the same gasket again.

I was talking about a Traxxas pro.15 engine. The top header on the engine. Is there a gasket? Nitro Buggy is the model car.
