hey guys
i was wondering . what is the most fastest , most reliable engine out there .. i really want the fastest. thanks.

You need an engine with a lot of power and a high upper RPM limit. High RPMs, a low tooth count spur gear and a high tooth count clutch bell will get insane speeds, at the expense of acceleration of course. I'd rather break neck acceleration any day.

If you want speed you want a engine that'll have upper RPMs over 34000 rpm. If you have a rustler I couldn't imagine why you want it to go faster than even 50mph. Any speed faster than that isn't going to help win races, mostly because you won't have any low end power to speak of (torque). If you are just messing around in a parking lot or park, 50mph is insane. You can get that type of speed from other upgrades rather than a new engine. If you go too fast, you will loose control and you will crash and you will break lots of parts. Imagine taking a jump at 50mph. Oh, where did my rustler go? There it is in that tree over there.

If you really want a new very fast engine, OS makes a couple of really fast racing engines. So does Novarossi and Picco. Iif I were trying for top speed I'd install a high reving Picco P21KS-RV and hop up the whole truck to be absolutely as light as possible, gear it for top speed, drop the chassis down and find a airport and pray my huge investment doesn't take flight. Even then i doubt I'd brake 65mph.

The fastest and most reliable (and probably the most expensive:))motor out there would have to be the OS 15 CVR. You know it's reliable because it's an OS and it has like 1.5 HP so you know it's powerful and fast. Edgar has one of these so you can ask him how he likes his. I want one but I don't have enough money:(
