Hi I am Interested in getting my first nitro vehicle. I have brought it down to these three.
- Nitro Rustler RTR
- Nitro Rush RTR
- RC10GT RTR
I like the Nitro Rustler becouse of the EZ-Start System, the fact that I am verry happy the way Traxxas's servise,(I have a E-Rustler) and the fact that Traxxas makes some of the most durable trucks on the market.
I like the Nitro Rush becouse of the way the chassis is layed out.(with all the electronics in compartments). Plus no wires are exposed to the upper chassis.
I like the RC10GT becouse it is one of the most "simple layouts
I have ever seen.
What do you think?
I am open for comments and sugestions. :D

nitro rustler...durable and good for racing/bashing
nitro rush...i have seen 2 chassis bend badly....and they never finish the race lol..literaly
rc10gt...pure race..needs a tranny brace in my opinion
best chocie for racing and bashing...nitro rustler

I will be bashing only. I dont like what the locals bring to the racing sceen. So I will be bashing only. I have realy had my heart set on the Nitro Rustler becouse the EZ-Start is souch a conviniance.

Just to warn you when you get a Nitro Rustler buy a few extra one way bearings for the EZ start. They seem to wear out easily:):):)

I dont know much about the hpi car the gt is faster and in my opion the most ajustable car so i would eleminate the hpi

When the rush was first introduced it had many problems from what i was told. Parts would break to easily, i heard that hpi realized this and re-manufactured some of their parts. I have not heard any god or bad since.
My friend bought a RC10GT RTR as i did the Rustler. Mine has underwent more abuse than his as I have had more run time since his has broke more often.
As for the speed I was pulling away from him with ease, we looked and found that his carb had restritor insert in it. We removed it, which did gain him some considerable speed. However I still was faster. Both were bone stock RTR when we did this, I have since made a few changes but have not been able to test my changes against his truck.
I feel traxxas has great products and customer service, so far i have a radicator, 4-tec (electric) and Nitro Rustler. When my son grows up the radicator will come to life again as traxxas still supports the parts even though this buggy has been discontinued.
