Lock nuts

I know this is a stupid question but what are these for?

I bought them for my jato thinking they were nuts to hold the wheel on but they are too big. Thanks for the help

see thats wat i thought but they dont fit and i got them in the jato section at my hobby shop and this is at buytraxxas in jato section

But that's the part# For the jato one's......maybe they gace you the wrong ones!

yea but are the t-maxxes diff. size cuz mine fit on my friends revo

Yah they are dif size! Jato ones are way smaller! Do you have the stock spindles? Look at the parts list for the jato and see what size the stock ones are compared to these 4mm ones

I'm pretty sure the 4mm ones are for Jato and the 5mm ones are for T-Maxx and Revo.

Jato is 4mm for the rear axles and 5mm for the front axles. Those are for the 4-tec and Rustler/Pede/Bandit and other Traxxas vehicles with 12mm hexes all around.

Does traxxas make blue nuts for the jato?

Jato is 4mm front and rear.

The stock silver is part number 1747 and the blue ones are 1747X. The ones in your link should fit. Check the part number on your package and see if you picked up the right ones.
