yo hecto i know EXACTLY where the new track in longview is. well it's kinda between longview and hallsville....i am one of the guys building it:D

when is it gonna be done. its taking a long time to get started. then about 2 weeks ago i went by and seen the nice drivers stand and thought it would happen quick now, but haven't seen any progress since. is there a holdup. i will be more than happy to come out and do whatever needed to get it going.

hector this has been going on for about 2 yrs. you ask the same as everyone else. the hold up is well....honestly....materials or money to buy the materials. my partners and i are building this track from our pockets. and right now funds are low. i know we have a jar set up a the lhs here but so far i think all we have got from it was about $150 but it was used well. i am meeting with the head man today to i am going to work on him about calling a work day at the track. and if you want a membership pm me for the info i am not sure if we can discuss that in the public here.

from what i heard from mike, some of the guys already bought the piping for the track. the stand is built. the dirt is out front. all thats left is a little manpower to build the track. if the piping isn't already bought, i'd buy a roll to give to you guys. i'm sure others would help out to if asked. thats the only problem i have is that the guy in charge doesn't like to ask for help. this thing could be done in a weekend if wanted. well, i hope this thing gets going soon.
