I have a jato 3.3 has 1 gallon of gas ran threw it .My engine temperture after it's ran for a while is around 200, was wondering why it isnt higher.Was thinking it needs to be tuned more lean,what do you all think .? thank's Dan

Yes lean out the HSN 1/8 turn , then run and re temp .

You should be running at 220 to 270 deg .

you can also just tune it like some of the people on the forums recommend to tune by performance not just temp lean it out until you don't see any more performance boost then once you think your topped off richen the fuel 1/8 turn but you still don't want it to smoke from the cooling head or have it cut out at high speed's but staying under 270 deg is a safe spot.

temps are a guigeline , reading the glow plug, smoke trails and tuning for performance is the proper way, if you keep leaning the carb too much to get the engine temps to 260 to 275, you will wear out the piston-sleve. not all engines like high temps, when you run too lean to get to opperation temps in cool to cold weather you starve the engine for oil.
