i have talons on my 3.3 and running a 54/20 if i put a 56 spur gear will it be faster or have more accleration and its not shifting into second gear but i think its running a little rich

56t spur will give youy more acceleration, less top end....

most of the time when you're not shifting it's because you're not generating enough rpm's to do so...try tightening the slipper so 3 1/2 to 4 threads are showing on the slipper shaft.

if that dosen't work, tighten the shift grub screw in the transmission until you feel the first hint of resistance then stop. if you tighen it any more, you could damage the centrifugal spring inside the clutch....then do high speed runs, backing out the grub screw 1/8 turns until you hear it shift.
