Just opened my new batteries from maxamps. I ordered the 4.4k 4400mah batteries that you see on ebay. First impression is they are put together well and construction looks clean. Well....I got to looking at them closer and found the 7th cell on one of the packs was loose. The solder tab was the only thing holding the battery together. I am not sure what type of glue they use to bond these together but it obviously was not strong enough...by the way, my E-Maxx has yet to even be run...the glue joint was broke out of the box. Anyway to make a long story short, I decided to fix the problem myself. I mixed up 2-part epoxy and ensured the glue joints on both packs would hold under the demanding conditions. I will charge them this evening and hopfully get the results I am looking for. Anyone else using these cells?
