ok ive had my truck for almost a year now and im just now going to brake in my new engine it not a TRX
but since i dont have the clutch yet can i just start the brake in while its siting sill on a block or sumthin
or should i wait for the clutch and brake it in that way?
its a AE.15 in a N-Sport SE.
oh and bump start engines i have an OS TNT.12 non-pull
should i keep it as my main engine or just sell it?

hey digifox,i don't think it would be a good idea at all.... without a load on the motor you get "free revs" and that's never good for any motor.
i have seen break in modules that use a propeller to put some of a load on the engine but i agree with Traxxas break in methods, you need to hit different rpm's to break in the full spectrum of the motor, and also it should be broken in using the actual weight of the truck that it will be pulling, not just air resistance or other methods
so i think it would be wise to just wait and do it right to have a good healthy motor
(a year.... wow)

yea a year i spent 100 on the"RTR" truck and 300$ later its almost ready i found The whole clutch setup off an
RC10GT witch is what the motor is for.so in about 10+ ill have my truck running..but i still ned a battery pack
and ill wait for the clutch cuz even if i could do it now it wouldnt be very fun just sitting there revving it up
