Ok... LHS sold me a Dynamite Twin Peak charger when I got my emaxx. Looking for suggestions on other brands for future charger purchase.

I would highly recommend the MRC Superbrain 977. Only about $25 more than the Dynamite twin peak and yet leaps and bounds ahead of it. The 977 will peak charge two packs at once at a charge rate of up to 5 amps to each pack. The twinpeak charger gives you no adjustment options other than the charge rate. 1amp 2amp or 4amp. The 977 allows you to adjust the charge rate in 10th of an amp incriments from 0.10 amps all the way up to 5.0 amps. Also you can adjust the peak threshold settings and much much more. I will never use another charger! (I have the superbrain 969 which is the older model of the 977).

I wish I would have purchased a charger that would go Li-Po. I don't want to buy another one now and lose the $$ I have in the Dynamite..

Thats another nice thing about the MRC 977 is that it will charge Lipo as well.

I have a Duratrax Intellepeak Twin Pulse and thought it was good, charged my batteries with my buddies Duratrax Intellepeak Ice the other day and the difference was like day and night. The ice charger seemed to make my truck run that much better.

i vote the 977 if you want 2 pack charging. If you don't 2 pack charging, get the superbrain 989, it can charge at 10 amps!
