OK guys so i know this needs to go in the pede video section, but i couldn't resist since this is my first vid. I am driving and using my cell phone's camera at the same time so it is not the best videography. Next time i will do a vid where it is daytime and i will use our 6megapixl camera. I am quite proud of my pede since that hill is all solid frozen ice! if i try to go up it without the headstart, the pede won't go up. I just put more snow on the hill yesterday to make the hill bigger, but it ruined the jump that i had made out of snow. Before i wreked the jump, i was geting about 2-3ft of air off of it in my stock stampede. And yes, that is my mom yelling at me to do the dishes!

It usually takes 10ish minutes when I've used You Tube.
PS: You don't need to make a bunch of posts in a row... There is an edit button. The mods here could see what you're doing as spamming.

It just worked for me. Looks like you got a nice big snow hill to climb there. The 'Pede does good for a 2wd! Is that the wind howling in the background? My Dad's in WY and he said it got down to -25 below with -45 wind chill. Burrr!

Yeah, it climbed that hill without problem with a run-n-go. Buy some tall spiked knobby tires and it'll crawl up it. That's good news it's warming up tommorrow! My Dad has to work out in the weather. He's working at a coal company over that way. Definitely good news.

Yes they are stock tires. If i do upgrade tires, what are some good choices?

Masher 2000's are popular...

i like mashers. and check with rmp for rims. They have two new designs out, they look pretty "sharp"

well, yeah... I just run my tires until there bald. Then I spring for new ones... When you do decide to buy tires, those are one of the most common on the fourm.
Just to let you know, im in the same boat as you, i have an xl-5 and want to upgrade it. Just my 2 cents, I wouldn't upgrade the esc... It goes down to
15t for a 540 sized can, and 12t on 550. It's a great speed controll. I would keep it until something happens to it :)

speaking of which , the little plastic yellow button on my esc got chipped off so now i take the end of a match or paper clip and hold it down to start it.

That's a bummer man. At least it should hold up until you get your mm7700.

The XRS is a nice little (pardon the pun :) ) ESC! I have a few. Actually fried one, but that was totally my fault. The other two are still running great!

I think that the xl-5 is fine for now, but I gotta save because of the mamba, but even with that its still $35 for the swami, $20 for deans. Then the whole deal is up to around $240 (including tax) if i buy the mamaba from pmf. (recovering form a $600 guitar purchase when your 13 isn't fun.)
