got the DX3.0 a couple weeks ago, ordered a hitec 645mg to replace my steering servo, got it put in and put the stock steering as my throttle. with the DX3.0 i seem to not get full range on any of my servos, neither both of the stocks, the hitec or the two spektrum that came with the radio. i hooked em up to the receiver and turned it on to have it set to the neutral position and put the horns on centered and messed with all the setting on the radio but i still only get minimal motion in one direction and can get full in the other, its ok with the throttle cuz the break doesnt need much movement but its kinda hard to drive if i can only turn one way a little bit

You might have to adjust the EPA's on your radio. Read the manual.

nope using the spektrum receiver and ive adjusted the EPA and can a little more movement to the one side but not the whole range it should be. i am right in that if you turn the power on to the receiver with the radio off it will place the servos in the neutral position right?

The TI-84 plus is a lot easier to use then my TI-89 titanium. But its worth it for the symbolic algebra.

I think I saw a video one time where a guy was runing Wolfenstein or Doom off one of those things..

I'm so sure about the Spektrum modules but on other systems if you do that and the receiver gets a signal from something else it could send your servos into convulsions and ruin them. The spektrum may have a built-in failsafe which WOULD return them to neutral if the receiver was setup to do it.
You have to set failsafes to the position you want them to "default" to.
