Noob in the Nitro world and experiencing some difficulties.
Broke in my Revo 3.3 by the book, i was ready to start tuning¨.
leaned out the HSN but didnt see any inprovment.
so i ran it for a while since it was performing qutie nice.
Checked the temp with a Ofna ir unit 380F at the Glowplug!!!
(Its about 0 degrees celsius where i live?

Richend 1/2 turn didnt help with the temp and the plug failed.
Got the new plug installed and thees are the symptoms:
(retuned to factory settings)

Hard start cold engine, must prime ALOT
doesnt seem to suck fuel from the tank.
When i finally get it running i must throttle it to keep it running.

if i give throttle it dies
if i gradually giv it throttle it will rev up insanly to the point that i wont dare run it (even if i let off the trottle)
Gets hot really fast

checked for comp warm engine : seems ok

Any ideas guys?

Its now at the lhs for them to check it out.
(they could not get it running, so they wanted to take a closer look)

First off, preheat the motor with a hairdryer or heatgun before starting in cold weather. Make sure you are up to operating temps before tuning. You may need to cover the head to prevent to much cooling. With colder temps you don't want to over lean the motor to keep it at operating temps, but you want to conserve the heat.

Regaring the thottle and quick rev up, check the clutch spring, and other components. It almost sounds like there might be an air leak.

Im suspecting an airleak aswell. i have tried the blowing in one end of the fuel line and pinching the other. not submerged. maybe ill try that, and changing the fuel lines. when i open the tank lid there is not one screw but 3 smaller screws. do i try thightening them all?
in the manual ther is only one in the middle!?
