Umm, the 3.3 skids are'nt aluminum, they're gray plastic. Besides that alum. skids are'nt really a good choice for bashing because they will bend easy....

theyre from full force rc.I tried to bend them with my hands, they wouldnt bend.So I know theyre tough! They came with back oxide screws also.I was looking for somthing tough yet affordable, and I got it.I could care less about what other people say about these skids.Usaly people are like hardcores and so and so are the skids you want, well Those probaly are tougher but,who would want to spend like $40 for each skid for a stock emaxx? For sure not me!When you have a stock maxx you dont need the best skids. Now maybe if you hoped it up though(went brushless),yea.

I'm using 3.3 Skids and RPM's Skid/Wear Plates (http://www.rpmrcproducts.com/products/traxxas/hires/skidplts.htm). Those RPMs are great! They protect the skids, add extra reinforcement to the bulks, and are countersunk to protect the screws. Plus, the 3-piece set acts as a transmission skid plate, saving money on having to buy one (unless you already use one, you'd have to remove it).

I got my truck with aluminum skids and I quickly replaced them with the 3.3s. I would not recommend using aluminum skids, for bashing anyway.

I could care less about what other people say about these skids. However, It sounds like you have already made a decision... Those RPMs will protect aluminum skids as well, but sooner or later, the front (and eventually the rear) will break at the angle. Just FYI.

Yeah rpm is a good company.I already have the skids I was talking about.I havent put them on yet because I dont know wether or not they would cause the bulks to break easier. But I did put the center on though.I Relly relly wish rpm would make bulkheads!I just broke a bulk erlier.I got these skids cause theyre 3.3mm,full set,and included back oxide screws was only $38 shiped:D !And theyre bent out like the stock ones.I hate those ones that are bent inward(behind the bumper).
