is it still bogging down? do you use the stock pipe on it? is it spitting fuel out the pipe? and what temps are the engine at when its starts bogging down?
Let me know i know these engines very well and i can prob help you out..

Hey RC Mechanic,
I just went back and read your original post. The problem could be your One Way Bearing. Take it out, clean it with brake cleaner, oil it back up with oil of your choice ( I use Marvel Mystry Oil ), and try again.
BTW, did you ever get a temp. gauge ..... it sure would help with your diagnosis.

ok check the pipe, you might have melted baffels, this would cause excessive backpressure to the fuel tank and cause more fuel to run down to the carb... thus flooding the engine with excessive fuel .... also like Triplebvalp said check you OWB.... let me know what you come up with :)

My baffle melted on my truck, and it did the same thing. I would definately look into it.

well the baffle in the exaust is fine, i just removed it to get more airflow just now. I also changed the OWB with one that i know is fine. haven't started her up yet though, haven't had a chance

dont remove the baffel...the baffel is necessary for proper backpressure to the fuel tank... too little BP and you are not going to get enough fuel... too much BP and you are going to get too much fuel...

Hey RC Mechanic,
I had no idea that the baffle was removeable  I believe that it is there for a purpose ..... as stated in another post, may be a bad idea to remove the baffle.

ok well i took it out and ran today, seems to run fine. course with all this engine adjustment i forgot to adjust the gear mesh. The mesh got too loose. i need to readjust.
Its been awhile since ive driven this, i forgot how much power a rusty with a 2.5 engine has.
