When I started to break in my new M.16 I encountered a problem. I started it up for the first time and idled a tank. then the second take i started to drive it a little. I noticed that after the first tank that the top of the glow plug was broken off,(not the fillament in side, the top tip of the plug) well i thought it was just a defect. then it did it again to the traxxas plug. so then i put 2 gaskets on the plug and it didn't do it again. What made it do that?

I have no idea, never heard of anything like that happening. I would be curious as to what caused that myself. On a sidenote, I broke mine in with 5 tanks. It wasn't till the 6th and 7 th tank that i really noticed that baby screaming! Good luck with your m16, i hope you like it.

it is probaly just some break in problems. just experiment after broke in if you can with the plug and maybe try a different kind of plug.
